Teen Fashion Design Contest Official Rules
1. Registration Required. (Teens 12-18)
2. When you register you will receive a plain white t-shirt (men’s size large). This shirt must be the main fabric for your design. (The sooner you register the more time you will have to work on your design.)
3. You may add fabric or cut fabric, but the t-shirt needs to be used in the design. You can change the t-shirt as much or as little as you want. (You could make the shirt into a dress, or a smaller shirt, a pair of shorts. Anything you want. You may dye or color the t-shirt; you may add as much fabric as you want to alter the t-shirt.)
4. Bring your garment and model to the runway show between 5:00pm-6:00pm on 7/30/10. This is the night of the Runway Show. Anyone not checked in by 6:00 will not be able to compete.
5. All entries must be finished and wearable.
6. You can style your model with any accessories you want. (Jeans, jacket, shoes, hair, makeup may all be part of the design and don’t need to be made by the designer.)
7. Entries must be an original design and must be sewn by the designer.
8. Entries must not be too revealing. Entries that expose undergarments will not be allowed on the runway.
